Top 5 - Movies That Should Have Had A/More Sequels

There are some stand-alone movies that should have had a sequel, a prequel, or at least something new in the universe it created. Or, some that were great, but the sequel killed off any opportunity to further the story line. Here are my Top 5 movies that deserved the above: a sequel, a prequel or a continuation in the universe. Some of these have had one, but deserve more. Give me more!

5. The Fifth Element - Why couldn’t we have had more adventures with Korben Dallas? They did it with John McClane!

4. Pulp Fiction - Man, something with Jules & Vincent starting out, or working for Marcellus doing other jobs. Maybe even how Jules and Jimmie met and became friends. I would also appreciate a background movie on the Cleaner played by Harvey Keitel.

3. The Goonies - The group of misfit kids could have had more treasure hunting adventures, new bad guys, more fun!

2. The Thing - Yes, the prequel wasn’t a hit, but it wasn’t all that bad. Imagine what could be done with a sequel as The Thing enters 1980’s society.

1. Heat - Again, yes, there is a prequel coming soon. Should have been done long ago with the original crew: Deniro, Kilmer, Sizemore and Trejo! Alas, would still love to see this crew pulling off cool heists all over the world, being tracked by Interpol and the Los Angeles Police Department.

What movies do you think should have had a continued story line?
